Dr. Caylor has been Lucy’s vet for at least five years — she is 7. Since Lucy is the first dog I’ve ever had, I am one of those pet moms who ask 1 million questions sometimes more than once. Dr. Caylor spends lots of time explaining things to me and making recommendations for my care of my wonderful Lucy. His exemplary patience with me is extraordinary. He’s even patient and responsive when I call and want/need to talk to him. I tell all my pet owner friends they should go to see Dr. Caylor when their pet needs veterinary care.

Dr Caylor takes his time, not rushing, to explain to me exactly what’s going on with Lucy. I always ask a ton of questions and he is there with the answers. I wish all the doctors I know would take care of their patients (like me!) the way Dr. Caylor does.

Dr. Caylor is the best because he cares. He listens closely when you talk and explains things in layman's terms so that you can understand it. Dr. Caylor was our doctor with our dog Fred, who was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma. He gave us our options, considering our love for our dog as well as our financial situation, and there was no judgement. He also was the doctor who euthanized our dog Gertie, who died of a different kind of cancer just 6 months after Fred died. His caring and compassion made a terrible time easier. And now he's Hank's doctor. Dr. Caylor helped us through a scary time when Hank ate 35 Aleve. Once again his knowledge and caring helped us understand the situation so that we could make the best choices for Hank's treatment.

My vets have been there for me and my dogs and cats through my pet adoption of animals with health and behavior issues, through injuries, growth removals, accidents, kidney failures and for four of them listed above, for their euthanasias. They have my complete trust that they will take care of and advise me of what is the best care for my animals - and will be there with me, if it's time to say goodbye. I feel like they are my family doctors, an expert medical team that not only handles the physical issues, but also take care of the well being of all my "family". When it's time to say goodbye to any of them, they've been there with kindness and gentleness - and sympathy and support for me as well. You can't ask for more than this in a great vet.
